International Students
Marlboro College seeks students with intellectual promise, a high degree of self-motivation, self-discipline, personal stability, social concern and a desire to contribute to the college community.
The process of applying is time-consuming because there are many considerations and extra requirements. Sufficient financial resources to support study in the United States are required for immigration purposes, including documented proof of your ability to meet the total budget expectations (including tuition, fees, room & board, books, supplies and international and domestic travel) for one year of $43,140.
Academic qualifications include a minimum TOEFL score of 80 (internet-based), 213 (computer-based), or 550 (paper-based). Please be aware that you are not required to submit either the SAT or ACT test scores in your application.
Because Federal funds are reserved for U.S. citizens, international students only qualify for merit-based scholarships. Merit scholarships are awarded based upon the admissions committee's selection; applicants do not apply for them.
To help you begin the application process, please carefully review the following important financial information.
If you believe that you are able to meet both our admissions and financial requirements, please submit your official TOEFL score report in addition to completing the remaining application requirements outlined in the Steps to Follow When Applying.
The I-20 form, which is needed to obtain an F-1 visa to study in the United States, will be sent to you once you have have been admitted to Marlboro College and have paid the $400 non-refundable deposit fee.
